In this talk, Dr. Idries will address how organizations’ understanding of AI impacts adoption, considering limitations set by existing systems, practices, and institutional structures.
This presentation will highlight how AI adoption in the public sector could be studied from the Technology Affordance and Constraints Theory (TACT) perspective and the call for further investigation across Norwegian public sector agencies.
Dr. Ahmed Idries is a postdoctoral fellow at NTNU. He is currently researching issues related to the implementation of AI in the public sector, focusing currently on NTNU as the case at the organizational level.
