SustainDiT project seminar

On January 10 2025 we have our second annual seminar in the SustainDiT seminar to present our current progress and meet our advisory committee members. You can join physically if you are in Trondheim, or join online to follow presentations from our PhD students.

SustainDiT (Sustainable Digital Transformations) is a project in NTNU’s strategic area of sustainability. In this seminar you will learn what our six PhD students are doing research on, and what this project is about.

  • 10:00-10:15 Sameer Bhattarai: TBA.
  • 10:15-10:30 Maryam Haghshenas: Collaboration between social security service and healthcare service- policy and practice.
  • 10:30-10:45 Ilaria Crivellari: Socially sustainable digital transformation in the public sector.
  • 10:45-11:00 Break.
  • 11:00-11:15 Leika Aruga: Entanglements in doing democracy with digital participatory platform Decidim.
    • “Explore how digital participatory platforms like Decidim are becoming a part of urban planning practices in Norway and Japan, and how they interfere with the materialization of physical and digital participatory spaces.”
  • 11:15-11:30 Michaela Schmidt: The digital public encounter.
    • “Exploring citizen-state interaction in the age of digitalization in the context of welfare services.”
