User participation in large digitalization projects: What can we learn from Helseplattformen?

Posted on June 11, 2025June 11, 2025 by DigiPub

During TSO Health and Life Science breakfast meeting we presented research on the participation process in Helseplattformen—how effective it was, and what types of knowledge the participating employees had or wished they had.

On Thursday 5. June 2025 we presented some of the results from Hamid’s PhD project during a breakfast meeting organized by NTNU’s Health and Life Sciences Strategic Research Area (TSO). We thank all those who joined us and contributed to a lively discussion.

Helseplattformen is a highly complex project. Any single study, including ours, represent a snapshot of a small part of the complexity. Nonetheless, it is important to discuss challenges and lessons learned. This is what our aim has been with this breakfast meeting.

Call for action

Our second aim is to broaden the audience for our newly-established Team Digitalization Competences, where we will conduct research on how employees in organizations can participation in digitalization processes more effectively. If you are interested in the topic we invite you to take our short survey, where you can also indicate if you want to be contacted by our team members for further dialog. If you are interested please fill in this anonymous form at Nettskjema.no.

Follow-up

  • Slides for the presentation from the meeting.
  • Link to webinar where we do an online version of the presentation.
